Infectious agents can be easily introduced to a pool or spa via bathers, from dirt entering the pool or from the water source itself. Once in the spa or pool, conditions often exist for these infectious agents to grow and proliferate. These infectious agents can lead to outbreaks of infections such as ear and eye infections and gastro-enteritis.
It is therefore required for public pools and spa's and recommended for private pools and holiday lets to have swimming pool and hot tub water testing to ensure they are fit for continued use.
With our swimming pool and hot tub testing, We take a sample(s) for testing and send it to one of our UKAS Accredited Laboratories. The following testing will be carried out and a pdf certificate with the results on, will be emailed to you.
UKAS Accredited tests:
Total coliforms
E.coli
Total viable counts 1 day at 37°C
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Legionella
These tests should be carried out monthly.
